Zovo Math Cages
Printable math cage puzzles with one solution and an answer key.
Zovo Math Cages makes printable arithmetic cage puzzles for teachers, students and puzzle fans. Each grid from 4 x 4 to 9 x 9 holds the numbers 1 to N once in each row and column, and each outlined cage shows a target and a sign (+, -, x or /). Choose the operations for the class (addition only, addition and subtraction, all four), the difficulty and the grid size. A solver checks that each puzzle has one solution before the PDF is made. The PDF has 1, 2 or 4 puzzles per page on Letter or A4 with a title, a name line and answer pages. The same seed reprints the same puzzle.

Limitations
- Grids are 4 x 4 to 9 x 9 with the numbers 1 to N; no 0, no larger numbers, no irregular shapes
- Subtraction and division cages have 2 cells; puzzles with only subtraction or division have more single-number cells
- Up to 12 puzzles per PDF
- It does not solve a puzzle from a photo
- Titles print in Latin, Greek and Cyrillic letters; Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Hebrew and emoji are left out of the PDF
